1. Delivery Rates & Options
Australia Shipping Rates
We offer both Standard and Express shipping options across Australia:

International orders to New Zealand are calculated at checkout based on total parcel weight (including protective bottle packaging):

2. Processing & Dispatch Times
Orders are processed and dispatched from our Pokolbin distillery within 1–2 business days (Monday to Friday, excluding NSW public holidays).
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a confirmation email with your tracking number so you can trace your parcel in real-time.
3. Alcohol Delivery Regulations & Age Verification (18+)
In compliance with Australian liquor legislation and the New Zealand Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012:

Signature & Photo ID Required: All parcels containing alcohol must be signed for by a person aged 18 years or older. Valid official photo ID (such as a Driver License or Passport) must be presented upon receipt.

No Authority to Leave (ATL): Parcels containing alcohol cannot be left unattended on doorsteps, verandas, or in safe drop locations under any circumstances.

Missed Deliveries: If no eligible adult aged 18+ is available to sign for the parcel, your shipment will be carded and redirected to the nearest postal collection point for secure pickup.
LIQUOR ACT 2007: It is an offence to sell or supply alcohol to, or to obtain alcohol on behalf of, a person under the age of 18 years. NSW Packaged Liquor License Number: LIQP700359331.
4. International Customs, GST & Import Duties (New Zealand Orders)
All prices listed on our website are in Australian Dollars (AUD) unless converted via our store currency selector.

Customs & Duties: Orders shipped to New Zealand may be subject to local New Zealand import duties, customs charges, excise taxes, or GST upon arrival.

Customer Responsibility: Any applicable customs duties, clearance fees, or local import charges levied by New Zealand Customs are the sole responsibility of the customer. Small Mouth Distillery does not collect or cover international import duties.
5. Damaged or Broken Goods in Transit
We protect all glass bottles using secure packaging prior to transit. However, if your parcel arrives damaged or broken:

Take clear photos of the damaged packaging and bottle(s) immediately upon arrival.

Contact our customer service team at info@smallmouthvodka.com within 48 hours with your order number and photos attached.

Once verified, we will arrange a prompt replacement or refund at no extra cost to you.
6. Incorrect Delivery Information
Please review your shipping address carefully before completing checkout. Small Mouth Distillery is not responsible for orders shipped to incomplete or incorrect addresses provided by the customer. Re-dispatch fees will apply if a package is returned to us as undeliverable.
